Daren Cox

Founder and Chairman

 

 

Daren Cox is founder and Chairman of Project Brokers.  Since its inception in 2005, he has led the company’s development to the point where it is now one of the world’s leading specialist Business Intelligence consultancies, serving blue-chip and mid-range businesses in the finance markets and in many other industries. Project Brokers has offices in London, New York and Bangalore and also works in many of the world capital markets centres across Europe and Asia.

 

Before this, Daren held senior IT management positions at Deutsche Bank for six years.  His achievements included creating a software development and support organisation for the Global Markets Sales Institutional Client Group (ICG), with a team of over 100 technologists spanning the key capital markets centres of the world.  He also led a major multi-million-pound reorganisation to outsource key elements of the larger Global Markets IT department to India and Russia.

 

Daren started his career at the systems integrator Logica Cambridge, and entered the finance markets in 2003 with a two-year stint at NatWest Markets, where he worked in the fixed income quant team developing pricing libraries for the interest rate and exotic option trading and sales teams.  This was followed by a management position at Union Bank of Switzerland, where he led and grew the Rapid Application Programming Team which developed software for the debt and equity markets departments.

 

Daren holds an honours degree in Computer Science from Kingston University in London.
