Greg is responsible with Matthew Mottram for setting up and running Project Brokers’ business in South Africa, serving finance and other business markets across the country, and especially in Johannesburg, Capetown and Durban. Together, they aim to help clients make the most of business intelligence (BI) applications, and to bring a more structured approach to each implementation, so information reaches every level of a client organisation and its benefits can be comprehensively realised.

 

Greg has a long track record in financial intelligence and reporting. He held senior positions at Credit Suisse and Bank of New York before joining Morgan Stanley in London as a consultant. During his four-year stint there, he was responsible for implementing and delivering performance management solutions in areas including asset management, cost transparency and customer relationship management. His introduction to QlikView came during this period, as did his growing familiarity with the work of Project Brokers in this field.

 

Greg’s move to Project Brokers was prompted by a realisation of the potential benefits to South African business of the company’s approach to BI. “QlikView has a wide range of functional applications that are appropriate to this market,” he says.
